          This just-released romantic suspense mystery that is probably the best thing Nora Roberts has written thus far in her career. She sets this book on plantation land in the contemporary American South.
          Carolina Moon, offers a much deeper look at her male and female protagonists than some of her recent books, and the mystery keeps you guessing right until the end. Protagonists Cade and Tory have you cheering for them right from the beginning, but with child abuse, multiple murders from the past and in the present, Tory's painful psychic abilities, and small town suspicions all getting tangled in the mess, there is ample doubt as to what level of togetherness they will actually be able to achieve.
          The secondary romantic plotline is almost as consuming as Cade and Tory's. —Debbie Cottin
